And that's a wrap!
Once again, all the thanks in the world to my beta reader @walkingoftheearth on Tumblr and my sensitivity consultant Lune Dube at Salt & Sage Books. I love how this story turned out, and that is because of their hard work and honest feedback.
Point A To Proxima Centauri B is now complete, available in its entirety for free on this page and on Tumblr, Archive of Our Own, and Substack! Thank you so much to everyone to stuck around to watch me drag my withering corpse over the finish line, to everyone who shared their kind words over the course of posting, and to those shared my work with their friends. Naturally, to reward your patronage, I must go on hiatus for the next eighteen months, but have no fear! My next project is close to being finished, and I'm hoping to start posting sometime in September/October of 2027. I will still be around in the interim on social media: all updates/announcements will be posted to my Tumblr and Bluesky accounts, so make sure you follow me there to keep up to date.
Between October 20th of 2025 and June 21st of 2026, storiesbythomas.neocities.org saw 3558 visits! In the same time-frame, the listing on Archive Of Our Own garnered 389 hits! Thank you again to everyone who took a chance on an independent writer and provided me with a soft landing, and please know that I feel very confident in continuing to share my work because of how well you've treated me thus far.
Though all plans are tentative at this stage, I plan to do things a little differently with my next project. Depending on the length of the story, there may be two chapters posted per week rather than one, and update days will likely be over the weekend rather than on Mondays. I will probably not be drawing any more character portraits as I've reached the end of my artistic abilities, but I will continue putting together music playlists for each chapter. Other changes are only going to affect my end of production and aren't really relevant here, so I won't go into detail, but I hope to deliver chapters of a more consistent length and quality with my next project.
A very special thank-you to those who reblogged my posts on Tumblr to help me grow my audience: @hannahcll, @unadulteratedvoidmoon, @paranoiafromtheunderground, @pantylace, @mx-time-bunny, @harleyquillao3, @dotanukister, @stardustplanet, @eliza-001, @crayonpencil, @myjudgepsychicwolf, @i-shot-jfk, @svyqcyllv, @dvidcalalv, @norrie-seaweed, @chocolat-ledouce, and @acronymking4tdp! Thank you all so much for taking a chance on an independent writer and providing me with a soft landing, and please know that I feel very confident in continuing to share my work because you've treated me so well thus far.
One last time, I want to encourage everyone to consider donating to causes supporting the Kanien'kéha Nation, and give back to the people that inspired and influenced so much of Point A To Proxima Centauri B. Here is a selection of donation initiatives that will benefit the community of Akwesasne and the wider Kanien'kéha Nation: Ionkwahronkha'onhátie', KORLCC Kahnawake, Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na (via cheque or E-transfer to tto@kenhteke.org), and the Strong Roots Foundation.
Last but not least, I want to reiterate that since October 7th of 2023, Israel has kept the people of Gaza under near-constant siege, with the tacit and often explicit support from the United States of America, Canada, and many other countries. Since October of 2023, more than 70,000 people have been killed by Israeli bombardment, targeted starvation and famines, and blockades preventing the entry of vital medical supplies -- and that number is much higher, both in the present crisis and when you remember that Israel has been allowed to do this unchecked for 75 years. If you only have a dollar to give, please consider giving it to a family in need, via this spreadsheet, Gaza Funds, or Keep Hope Alive; alternatively, you can donate to an organization providing on-the-ground support in Gaza, like Ele Elna Elak, The Sameer Project, Gaza Soup Kitchen, Salam Charity, Watermelon Relief, The Isnad Foundation, Mona's Initiative, The Hussein Team, or Water Is Life Gaza.
Thank you very much for reading until the end of this final announcement, and for donating what you can. I hope you keep following my work, and I can't wait to come back in 2027 with something new. Happy reading!

Hello June!
Finally, a new milestone: storiesbythomas.neocities.org has reached over 3000 visits! Very exciting debut numbers, and I'm so grateful for the reception so far as we go into the final stretch. Thank you to everyone who tunes in every week, and to all the new readers who have recently taken a chance on me — in the past seven months you all have treated me extremely well, and I'm hopeful that you'll continue to enjoy my work as I develop. As always, a very special thank you to @hannahcll, @mx-time-bunny, @harleyquillao3, and @pantylace for reblogging posted chapters and helping to get more eyes on my work!
But all good things must come to an end, and PATPCB will be wrapping up on June 15th, 2026. My next story, which is sitting in my WIPs folder under the name 'Puck's No Good Terrible Very Bad Day(s)', still needs a significant amount of revising and editing, so the earliest that it will publish is Sept-Oct 2027. It may take longer, but I have every intention on continuing to publish my work online, so please be patient! I will still be semi-active on social media in the meantime, so no one will be deprived of my stunning commentary on movies that no one else has seen; feel free to come and talk to me! After the last chapter is posted, I will probably write up one last monthly update, which will outline what the posting schedule will look like going into my next project, what I plan to do differently, and maybe a teaser blurb of dubious quality/accuracy. Stay tuned, I love you.
In between updates, you can find me on Tumblr @d00m-d4ys or on Bluesky @d00md4ys.bsky.social, and if you have the cash to spare, it would mean so much to me if you joined my Patreon! Because all donations will be split between me and my chosen causes, you will also be supporting a Gazan family in need and the Kanien’kéha community in addition to an independent author. Even if you choose not to join my Patreon, please consider donating to one of these causes independently: if you have even $5 to spare, you have the ability to make a difference in someone’s life.
If financial support isn’t a viable option, don’t sweat it! If you like this story, help me grow my audience by sharing the links and telling your friends about Point A To Proxima Centauri B, or make my day by filling the #patpcb tag with your theories, fanart, and longform essays. Word-of-mouth is the best advertising there is, and it’s absolutely free!
Thank you all again for your support, and I hope you continue enjoying the story. Happy reading!

Happy End of April!
It's been a good month: storiesbythomas.neocities.org broke 2000 lifetime views, with another record-breaking daily viewership, with a spike to nearly a hundred views in a single day! I was so thrilled when three people were tuning in daily, and it's crazy to see that more people than I personally know in real life are reading my work and (hopefully) enjoying it enough to come back for more! Thank you to all of who tune in, and a very special thank you to @dotanukister, @harleyquillao3, @mx-time-bunny, @unadulteratedvoidmoon, and @stardustplanet for rebblogging my posts and helping to get more eyes on my work!
From here on, there are seven updates left, all regular with no bonus chapters. Point A To Proxima Centauri B will officially wrap up on June 15th, after which I plan to go on a year-long hiatus to focus on writing/editing/refining my next project, which will hopefully debut in the same format sometime in the fall of 2027. While this new project will be separate from PATPCB, I do have plans to write another story within PATPCB's universe, so keep an eye out for that in the coming years.
In between updates, you can find me on Tumblr @d00m-d4ys or on Bluesky @d00md4ys.bsky.social, and if you have the cash to spare, it would mean so much to me if you joined my Patreon! I forgot to write up a post for February, but luckily nothing of note happened, so here's March in review!
Viewership is steadily increasing, with a couple of record-breaking weeks in a row: from March 3rd to March 9th, storiesbythomas.neocities.org garnered over 150 views, compared to the lifetime average of 70-80 views a week. Welcome to all the newcomers, thank you so much to all the readers who check back in every week for new instalments of Point A To Proxima Centauri B, and a very special thank-you to those who reblog my updates on Tumblr and help to spread my work to more people: @eliza-001, @crayonpencil, @myjudgepsychicwolf, @harleyquillao3, and @mx-time-bunny. If you'd like to be on April's shout-out list, be sure to reblog the instalments as they're posted and help me grow my audience!

Hello everyone! Just a short message this month: thanks to all of you, storiesbythomas.neocities.org broke 1000 views last month! Thank you very much to everyone who returns every week to check out what happens next, and a very special thanks to Tumblr users @svyqcyllv, @dvidcalalv, @norrie-seaweed, @harleyquillao3, @chocolat-leduoce, and @acronymking4tdp for reblogging my posted chapters and helping me grow my audience! I’m so glad that you enjoyed Point A To Proxima Centauri B enough to share it with friends: may your favourite pens never run out of ink or get discontinued!

Happy New Year to all who celebrate!
It’s time for — you guessed it — more stats analysis! I’ve had amazing viewership in December, with some record-breaking days: on the days Chapter Ten and Eleven debuted, the website tracked 42 views each! Whether this can be attributed to the choice to have two updates in the previous week remains to be seen, but I’m excited to see where it goes nonetheless! Overall, storiesbythomas.neocities.org has seen almost 700 views since debuting Chapter One of Point A To Proxima Centauri B! Thank you so much to all who tune in every week to see what happens next, and feel free to shoot me a message on Bluesky or Tumblr if you want to learn more about the story and future projects.
If you're looking for an alternative format to enjoy the story and other projects, I'm in the process of launching a Substack that will deliver chapters directly to your inbox! Once all of my ducks are in a row, I will post an update here and to all of my socials, hopefully some time in the next month.
There will be two half-chapters posted alongside the regular updates this month. Chapter Fourteen And A Half with be posted on January 18th, the Sunday before Chapter Fifteen; Chapter Sixteen And A Half will be posted on the Tuesday following Chapter Sixteen, January 27th.
If you have the cash to spare, it would mean so much to me if you joined my Patreon! For as little as $5 a month, you can help support an independent author, and because all donations will be split between me and my chosen causes, you will also be supporting a Gazan family in need and the Kanien’kéha community. Even if you choose not to join my Patreon, please consider donating to one of these causes independently: if you have even $5 to spare, you have the ability to make a difference in someone’s life.
Just like always, engagement is my favourite kind of support! If you like this story, help me grown my audience by sharing the links, following me on Tumblr or Bluesky, and telling your friends about Point A To Proxima Centauri B.
Thank you all so much for an incredible two months, and I hope you continue enjoying the story. Happy reading!

Finally, November comes to an end!
Once again, I am thrilled with the response! Neocities is averaging around 57 views a week, which is such a joy to see, especially since I appear to be retaining steady viewership, and it means so much to me that you’re all enjoying my work and are interested in seeing what happens next.
Now that the fun statistical analysis is out of the way, my only news is that I’m considering no longer cross-posting chapters to Tumblr, since I’m not getting much engagement on my posts and I can’t be sure that it’s bringing in any new readers. If you found out about Point A To Proxima Centauri B through Tumblr and you want me to continue cross-posting here, the power is in your hands! Consider reblogging the chapters already in circulation and getting more eyes on my story, following me on my blog @d00m-d4ys, or posting some of your thoughts on the story so far in the #patpcb tag. Every bit helps, and I’d love to be able to give a shout-out next month to anyone who helps boost my work, or posts some really cool fanart.
As always, if you have the means, I’d really appreciate any donations on my Patreon. You can become a member for as little as five dollars a month, and contributing any amount will get your name in next month's thank-you letter on Tumblr, Neocities, and Patreon. Once again, financial support isn’t your only option: if you have someone in your life that loves a good story and wants to support an independent writer for the low cost of absolutely free, please consider sharing the link to my story.
Thank you very much for your continued support, and I hope you all have a safe and happy December!

Happy Halloween!
Only two chapters in and I’m thrilled with the reception, with over a hundred visits since posting the first entry! I’m so glad to see you all enjoying the story so far. Thank you all very much for your early support, and I hope you continue to follow the story as it unfolds. If you’re interested in supporting me further, you can do so on my Patreon, or by spreading the word to your families and friends.
As stated above, we are two chapters in, of a planned thirty-nine: new chapters will be posted on Monday, with half-chapters or minor interludes being posted either the preceding Sunday or the following Tuesday. At the end of every month, I will be posting a similar thank-you letter both here and on my Patreon, where I will break down any earnings, shout-out backers, and generally share other news that I feel is important.
Thank you again for taking time out of your lives to read my work. It means the world to me, and I hope to thank some of you by name next month. Until then, happy reading!

Chapter One of Point A To Proxima Centauri B is now live! The next chapter will be posted on October 27th, 2025. At the end of every month, I will post a thank-you letter for everyone who backs me on Patreon, and I also plan to break down how the donations are being divided between myself and the fundraisers that I want to support.
Happy reading!

Hello and welcome! Here is where I will post general news beyond the weekly updates. The latest post will always be viewable from the Home page, and feel free to check out my Tumblr/Ao3 for other stuff if you're interested.
Very soon I plan to start posting my writings online, starting with Point A to Proxima Centauri B. PATPCB follows Mal, a young mother who plans to leave all her earthly problems behind and start a new life on a far-off planet. Obstacles range from price of admission to the raging war standing between her and the shuttle, but chief among them is the responsibility of finding Tai-Song, a childhood friend who has mysteriously vanished in the chaos. In the mad search to find him, long-held secrets are revealed and her oldest wounds are reopened, forcing her to confront her true reasons for fleeing Earth.
I don't have a solid date of posting yet beyond sometime in the next year, so stay tuned! The current plan is to post chapters here first, and cross-post to Tumblr and A03 the following day for reach.
